Application deadlines
for UC Fellowships, department grants, and
FLAS Awards

| UC Graduate Division Fellowships | December 15 | early spring semester |

| Block Grant stipends | December 15 | early February |
| Non-resident tuition waivers | December 15 | early February |
In a typical year, no more than about 3 or 4 incoming students receive a stipend from any of these programs large enough to support the student for the tenure of the award (1-5 years).
Graduate admittees who are members of certain ethnic minority groups may qualify for the University's Graduate Opportunity Program. Please refer to the Graduate Division for details.
